Three companies have been short listed to lead the public-private-partnership of the new Community Outpatient Centre in Bayers Lake, Halifax Regional Municipality.
Bird Integrated Health Partners, Community Health Partners and EllisDon Infrastructure Healthcare have qualified to bid on the design, build, finance and maintain of the new centre, which is part of the QEII New Generation project.
A request for proposals will be issued to the three successful bidders in July.
A similar request for supplier qualifications for the expansion of the Halifax Infirmary site of the QEII Health Sciences Centre has been issued and a short list is anticipated by the end of July. This expansion includes the construction of the new QEII Cancer Centre, outpatient centre, inpatient centre, including hospital beds and operating rooms, and the new innovation and learning centre.
